The Mulhall Academy of Irish Dancing has been in Our Lady’s Hall for many, many years and always has great success in competitions.
This group of talented young people choreographed by Linda Guthrie (Jordan) are put through their paces and perform on a variety of stages around the City from time to time. If you’d like your son or daughter on the stage, then, this is the place for them on Thursday evenings
The Sing / Act / Dance Drama School now operates on Wednesdays evenings from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm as well as Saturdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The new Men’s Club, we say new because there was a Men’s Club which folded in the 1980’s, is only in existence since 2011 and numbers have remained stubbornly low. Their activities include Indoor Bowls, Darts, and Table Tennis, Pool, Chess, Draughts and a good chin wag during a regular break from all the action.

This is now in its 4th year and runs for 2 hours every Wednesday night from 8:15 to 10:15. There is a solid group of 30+ but new dancers are always welcome, including beginners. There is also the Viva School of Dance which meets most Sundays from 10 am for anything from 2 to 4
The Active Retired (& over 50’s Club) was set up in 2011 and is an integral part of Our Lady’s Hall. It meets every Monday and Thursday morning from 11 to 1. Currently their main activity is Indoor Bowls, but there are possibilities for a whole range of events. They also do trips away together.
